One of the most iconic houses of the 90’s is up for sale ..

Watching Channel 4’s Big Breakfast was a staple of many a households morning ritual’s during the 90’s. With it’s fun exploits he wacky Zig and Zag the show was presented by Chris Evans, Gaby Roslin, Mark Little, Zoe Ball, Johnny Vaughan and Denise van Outen and the flirtatious Paula Yates.

Formerly three separate lock-keeper’s cottages, the famous six-bedroom property at Old Ford Lock in East London was renovated after the show finished in 2002.

The residence, which is just minutes from the Olympic Park in Stratford, is laid out across three floors, however, at present, the property is split into two, comprising one home of 3,000 sq ft and one of 1,500 sq ft, but with the inter-connecting doors still preserved. The home is nestled in a secluded oasis on the bank of the River Lee, and boasts a beautiful roof terrace, a huge garden, and even an outdoor swimming pool. Despite the property having been refurbished since its TV heyday, fans of The Big Breakfast may still recognise various locations around the house that were used for different segments.

For example, the property also comes with a separate outdoor workshop – where Johnny Vaughan hosted “From Me Shed, Son” – which could now be converted into a home gym or workspace.
