JTRE London has announced the launch of Triptych Bankside, its most significant project to date and two years in the making ..
Following its purchase in 2018, the flagship development is currently being built in one of London’s most thriving and sought-after locations. The £400 million mixed-use scheme comprises 169 bespoke apartments, commercial and retail space, and is due to complete in 2022.
Inspired by the ebb and flow of the River Thames, the development’s striking aesthetic has been designed by internationally renowned architects, Squire & Partners. It features two residential buildings of 14 and 18 storeys, and a commercial building of 9 storeys, which will incorporate retail and cultural space on the ground and subterranean floors, with a curated mix of independent cafés and stores. It is from this set of three associated artistic works, intended to be enjoyed together, that Triptych gets its name.
Located at 185 Park Street, SE1, Triptych Bankside is not only in a prime central location, it also lies in the heart of one of London’s most culture-rich areas, Southbank, and will offer unparalleled access to everything that living in this area provides. Nestled between two iconic London institutions, the Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe, the development is on the banks of the River Thames, with coveted views across to St Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard and other city landmarks. What’s more, the City of London is just 10 minutes away across the pedestrian Millennium Bridge, as well as being on the doorstep of the renowned culinary hotspot, Borough Market.
From studios to four bedroom penthouses, each home is filled with light and features at least one spacious private terrace – a panoramic stage from which to admire London’s famed skyline, from St Paul’s to the Shard and other landmarks.
Alex Stocker, Development Director at JTRE London said: “Triptych Bankside is the first major scheme to be launched in this exceptional location for many years and offers the best of the best, from the design to the views, all set within this amazing area where the breadth of arts and culture is second to none. What’s more, now that outdoor space is of greater importance than ever, not only does the development provide bags of communal space, each property has its own terrace, so we can provide something seldom found in the city. Launching off plan now, we have already had significant interest from both the UK and abroad and look forward to welcoming all the future residents.”
More than ever, a sense of community is a key attraction, and this ethos is at the heart of Triptych Bankside living. As well as multiple private lounges, residents will also have a games room and 14-seat luxury cinema at their disposal. The landscaped gardens will provide a leafy oasis in the midst of the area’s vibrancy, and in a reflection of the growing need for flexible working, a co-workspace will provide multiple plug and play workstations and super-fast broadband
Prices start from £720,000 for a studio apartment to £9,715,000 for a penthouse. The agents appointed on the residential development are Savills and Strutt & Parker.
